•DESIGNER'S NOTE | HOW IT ALL STARTED•

"Since I was little, I loved fashion and design. In my country, I was involved in modeling. It’s something that has always been very near and dear to my heart. A few years ago, I started with this dream of launching my own brand, “Paulina Vélez”. For me, it was about contributing to the world, something of my own. In this case- my style, and my passion for fashion.

When I started creating my logo, I wanted to truly represent what my brand is all about. The wings represent freedom in every way: the freedom to live your dreams, your life, your ideals, to let your imagination fly. I then wanted to find a truly unique concept that captures that essence . When I initially began my search, I traveled to many countries looking for the approach and designs that would transform the fashion game. The process has been slow with ups and downs - but I achieved it and I found it in my roots, in my native country Ecuador. It was destiny that was put in front of me, and I saw my dreams being brought to life. I immediately began to create and put my style in each design of every handmade accessory- everything is designed with my style and essence. Each piece has something of my own to give every individual the style to be casual and elegant at the same time. One can wear my pieces with a formal dress or to dress up a casual outfit such as jeans and a T-shirt. Always remember- that the attitude with which you wear a garment, is the approach you are going to give to the world. Everything that is designed, is specially made for YOU in mind.
